CKU会员参加美国犬业俱乐部（AKC）赛事补充内容

鉴于近期较多会员咨询CKU会员能否参加美国犬业俱乐部（AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB，以下简称AKC）举办的赛事，CKU特做出以下解释：

1.AKC是独立于FCI体系外的国家犬业俱乐部。目前，CKU与AKC尚未达成血统证书的互认协议。出于对AKC注册制度的尊重，CKU不会签发以美国为临时目的地的出口血统证书。因此，这些会员不符合AKC举办的赛事参赛条件。

2.CKU与AKC已经在接洽中，希望双方早日达成协会间的血统书互认协议，进而CKU会员可在遵循AKC注册制度情况下换发AKC血统证书。即在CKU正式注册过的犬只将可以参加由AKC举办的赛事。

3.持有AKC血统证书的CKU会员仍然可以参加AKC举办的赛事。

4.若CKU会员（持有CKU血统证书且犬只出生在中国大陆）利用另一犬业协会，以达到参加AKC举办的赛事、出口犬只到美国的目的，而非按照AKC规则获取AKC血统证书的，一经发现，将视情节严重程度给予相应惩罚。

2013年，CKU成为了FCI正式会员，所有FCI成员组织均对CKU血统证书予以了认可。与此同时，CKU也在不断地鼓励并选送优秀犬只参加国际性赛事。2016年，近100名CKU会员参加了在莫斯科举办的世界杯。CKU始终响应FCI“FOR DOGS WORLD WIDE”的号召，同时这也是近年来CKU工作的重中之重。

中国在自身犬展运动发展过程中，难免会遇到各种问题。但CKU始终致力于解决这些问题。我们相信各国家俱乐部之间的平等交流应基于血统证书互相认可和尊重的基础之上。我们很高兴看到通过我们的努力能在未来促成AKC对CKU血统证书的认可，我们的犬只也能够参加AKC举办的赛事。

Supplementary Notice of the CKU Members on Entering AKC Events

Since many CKU members have been asking whether they could enter shows organized by AKC,CKU would like to provide an explanation with reference to the issue:

1. AKC is a National Canine Organization independent of FCI. As of this moment, CKU andAKC have not yet reached a mutual recognition agreement about pedigree certificates. Out of respect to AKC registration rules and regulations, CKU could not issue export pedigree certificates when America was the temporary destination for CKU members. Therefore, for these members, they were not qualified to enter events organized by AKC.

2. A mutual agreement is now being discussed and it is hopeful that AKC will soon recognize CKU pedigrees so that AKC under its Rules can issue an AKC registration certificate. This means that properly registered dogs of CKU members will be able to be exhibited at AKCshows.

3. Owners who hold a pedigree certificate from AKC and are CKU members can, as in the past,enter events organized by AKC.

4. If CKU members (holding pedigree certificate of CKU and the dog was born in China) are found to use another Kennel Club in order to become eligible for entering shows organized by AKC and export dogs to America rather than observing our rules for obtaining an AKC pedigrees, they will be punished depending on seriousness of the offense.

In 2013, CKU became an FCI Full Member, and all FCI members acknowledge pedigree certificates of CKU. CKU also has been constantly encouraging and sending excellent Chinese dogs to be shown in international shows. In 2016, nearly 100 CKU members entered the World Dog Show held in Moscow. The CKU has always been responding to the FCI slogan “For Dogs World Wide”. This has also been the work focus of CKU in recent years.

During the development of the dog show sport in China inevitably there have been many problems to be solved and CKU is and has been working to solve them. Communication between national clubs shall be based on the mutual recognition of pedigree certificate and mutual respect. We are pleased our work will resulte in AKC recognizing CKU pedigrees and that CKU dogs can participate in AKC organized events.
